The Library Project, first presented at Elizabeth Dee Gallery in 2010, is an initiative that focuses on editorial production and the position of writing and design in contemporary art practice. A filing cabinet containing a selection of readings collected around the exhibition Today I Made Nothing were made available in the gallery office. As a strucutre, the filing system positioned the office context as a framework – like the library – that acknowledges the potential to generate concrete forms of “living research” alongside and within the exhibtion format.
